Project Assistant – Training and Reporting

The Office of University Advisement (OUA) is seeking a graduate student that will help with several department initiatives including advisor training, advising assessment, Dual Credit enrollment, and online advisor tools.  The candidate should have strong teaching and facilitation skills.  Additionally, they should have the ability to read reports, gather and analyze data in order to summarize information for written reports.  The candidate will be asked to write reports plus create, update, and organize training content and documents.   The Project Assistant will provide support in the development, analysis, modification, documentation, and maintenance of various programs. The work site is located on UNM Main Campus in the University Advisement and Enrichment Center, and open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Position Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Work a set schedule for 20 hours a week during Fall and Spring semesters in the office environment
  • Communicate effectively both orally and writing, with various levels within the advising community
  • Comfortable with technology platforms  Motivated Self-starter
  • Possess research skills
