Application Instructions
The following information is provided to help the prospective student successfully apply for admission to the Construction Management (MCM) graduate program at the University of New Mexico. | Educational Background | Grade Point Average (GPA): An undergraduate baccalaureate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent) for courses in the major field of study over the last two undergraduate years. |
| Program of Interest | Select: School of Engineering > Civil Engineering > Masters of Construction Management |
| Test Scores | GMAT or GRE scores are required. Starting in the Spring 2024, the GRE requirement is waived for students graduating from an ABET-accredited program (see list of accredited institutions and programs here: https://amspub.abet.org/aps/). |
| Letter of Intent | The letter of intent should summarize your qualifications and professional goals. Please try to limit to 2 pages. |
| CV/Resume | Not required for acceptance, but highly recommended. |
| Video/Audio Link | Not required for acceptance, but may be uploaded if you wish to include in your application file. |
| Assistantships | To be considered for assistantships, applications should be received by the deadline indicated above. |
| Recommendations | Three (3) letters of reference are required. |
