Welcome to Graduate Studies at the University of New Mexico!
At UNM, New Mexico's flagship university, graduate students enjoy access to nationally recognized faculty and degree programs, cutting edge research, student support organizations, and professional and academic workshops.
Our programs and services, including initiatives such as Graduate Community Mentoring (GCM) and the Project for New Mexico Graduates of Color (PNMGC), assist in guiding students through degree completion requirements, providing scholarships and grants, and offering mentoring opportunities. We also host our Showcase Events -- LoboBites in the fall semester and the Graduate Poster Showcase in the spring -- which are annual events designed to give graduate students experience in presenting their research and scholarly endeavors to the community.

Final deadline for Summer 2026 graduates: July 15 at 11:59pm
All Report of Examination results, manuscripts, and manuscripts forms must be submitted to the Graduate Studies queue by Wednesday, July 15 at 11:59pm for pending Summer 2026 graduates.
