| Letter of Intent | Required. Please write a 1000 word essay indicating why you have chosen to pursue graduate work in History, what your general study/career plans might be, and any qualifications or preparation (e.g. language skills) you might have which do not appear elsewhere in this application. How would your interests fit with the specialities of UNM's history department? |
| Writing Sample | Required for PhD applicants. |
| Relevant Coursework | Please provide a list of coursework in history or a comparable discipline. |
| Assistantships and Financial Aid | All applicants should fill out the Application for Financial Aid. Graduate Assistantships are available to qualified students.
