The following information is provided to help the prospective student successfully apply for admission to the Special Education (MA) graduate program at the University of New Mexico. | Educational Background | Required. Please include unofficial transcripts in the online application and submit official transcripts to UNM (transcripts from UNM excepted). |

| Letter of Intent | This is your opportunity to tell the program faculty about yourself. It is recommended that you provide information about your areas of research interest, previous experience, and your goals. |

| Special Requirements | Please complete the MA Special Education Application Form and upload to the Special Requirements section in your online application. The completed form may also be added to addendum section in your online application after submission. |
| Recommendations | Three letters of recommendation are required. The program recommends that at least one letter be from a college instructor, one from an employer, and one from another professional contact. |
