Rogers Research Award
The Rogers Research Award provides funding up to $1500 to facilitate research directly related to the master's thesis or doctoral dissertation, including artistic projects for the MFA. (This award is not for conference presentations, attendance, etc.) Funds may be used for travel expenses, lodging, and qualifying research materials (such as art or lab supplies, software not already available via UNM, or printing or digitizing costs) directly relevant to advancing the research project. If you are traveling internationally, you must get approval from the Office of Export Control and submit the form with your application. **Please note Export Control takes at least one week to get reviewed and approved.
Additionally, students traveling internationally will need to register their travel with UNM's Global Education Office. Their form does not have to be turned in when submitting the Rogers application but must be submitted and approved before travel to be eligible for reimbursement if awarded.
