- UNM Sanctuary Campus: Support and resources for undocumented students and information about the effort to make UNM a sanctuary campus.
- Graduate & Professional Student Organization (GPSA): The recognized graduate and professional student government organization at the University of New Mexico since 1969
- Project for New Mexico Graduates of Color (PNMGC): A student-based organization working to build community among historically underrepresented groups in graduate school
- Society of Native American Graduate Students: A graduate student organization representing the growing concerns and interests of Native American graduate students at UNM
- Veterans Resource Center: Run by veterans, for veterans at UNM. Available to all veterans and their families, the VRC help veteran students navigate through the challenges of transitioning from the military to a civilian/academic environment.
- African American Student Services: Provides culturally relevant programs designed to assist African American students in making a confident transition and successful adjustment to UNM
- American Indian Student Services: Provides cultural and academic programming for American Indian students attending the University of New Mexico in an effort to ensure their academic achievement and assist in the development of personal, cultural, and social success
- El Centro de la Raza: Provides a wide array of programs and services for all Latino/a students at UNM. The El Centro de la Raza family – an ever evolving and symbiotic group of students, faculty, staff, community members, and families – strives to stand together against oppression and transcend geographic and cultural communities for the achievement of collective power through life-long learning.
- UNM Childcare: Provide affordable childcare for the children of UNM's student, staff and faculty families
- UNM Association for Non-Traditional Students (ANTS): A student-run organization offering non-traditional students a variety of resources, information, and peer support networks to assist in acclimating and succeeding in the university environment
- Recreational Services: Provides a wide variety of opportunities to enhance educational, recreational, and cultural experiences at UNM
